802.11 Wireless

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) created the first WLAN standard in 1997. It is called 802.11, named after the group that handled its development. This was later on developed to 802.11 b, 802.11 a, 802.11 g, 802.11 n over the years. Each continually upgrading and updating to keep track of the continuous needs to upgrade by the end users.

At ACIS IT Solutions, we can provide a standalone or a managed wireless solution from many of the leading hardware providers like Fortinet, HP, Netgear, just to name a few. We can setup a WIFI 802.11 A, B, G, N and implement technologies like MIMO in your network for you that will allow secure and flexible wireless access.

What is MIMO?

MIMO (multiple input, multiple output) is an antenna technology for wireless communications in which multiple antennas are used at both the source (transmitter) and the destination (receiver). The antennas at each end of the communications circuit are combined to minimize errors and optimize data speed.

Setting up wireless LAN requires a knowledgeable team who are familiar with the leading companies such as Apple, Windows and CISCO. ACIS IT Solutions can provide solutions for any environment examples include small offices, home offices, hotels, apartments, and remote office sites are just a few that we have provided design and installations for.
