ACIS® IT Solutions is located in Springfield, MO we have been in business since 1999. We are the best of the best and it shows in everything we do. We provide Managed IT services, Low Voltage Data Cabling, Cloud based offerings all while maintaining a retail sales and service presence.

Looking For:

Job Description:

  • Primary responsibility of this position is providing high level technical support and troubleshooting via remote methods and onsite for our clients.
  • Secondary responsibilities will include anything else that is asked of you. If you are above taking out the trash or cleaning a bathroom then you need not apply. Every new hire is assigned these tasks. Our company culture is such that we are all in this together and we are all responsible to do whatever it takes. No passing the buck here.

General Skills and Qualifications:

  • No Criminal convictions, a drug screening and background check are required
  • Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.
  • Must function successfully in a team environment with a constant focus on customer satisfaction and meeting client expectations.
  • The ability to get along with varying personality types is a must.
  • Must have the ability to work with a wide range of companies in varying industries with the understanding they are all equally important to us as clients.
  • Troubleshooting abilities and communication skills need to be part of your DNA or basic character traits to work with here and succeed.
  • Must be Physically Fit and able to do manual labor as required.
  • Ability to understand and follow written processes while appreciating the process being in place.
  • An ability to work within environments that can range from high stress to laid back.
  • Preferably an Associate’s or bachelor’s degree or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Information, Computer Science, industry certifications, or equivalent experience
  • Must be a local candidate and be available for hire within three weeks or less.

Technical Skills & Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in the same or similar type of position or the ability to prove technical competence equal to the same.
  • Advanced Network Troubleshooting Skills with LAN, WAN and Internet Connectivity
  • Proficient in supporting Windows 10 and Microsoft Server OS’s
  • Desktop software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365
  • Familiarity with Apple products
  • In depth understanding of Backup Technologies and implementation’s
  • Demonstratable experience/knowledge of working with and configuring PC, laptop, server, and networking hardware
  • Understanding of 802.11 Wireless operability and technology
  • End-Point Security Technologies
  • An understanding of Switching, Routing, and VLAN’s
  • Experience working with bare metal and VM based Server Technologies
  • Familiarity with VOIP and associated hardware
  • Understanding of and the ability to explain the OSI model
